New woodworking class announced Dresser Caddy Workshop UPDATE: The Dresser Caddy Workshop in September/Thursdays is full! However, openings in the September/Tuesday night class remain available. Open to all skill levels. Download (PDF) registration form here. CLASS DESCRIPTION At long last and after many requests, Michael is offering a new class. We will be making a dresser caddy out of mahogany, 22-1/2" (L) x 9-5/8" (D) x 3" (H). The project will be completed in time for Christmas and will make an excellent Christmas gift. This will be open to all skill levels, including no skill at all.* Classes will meet each Thursday evening, 6:00pm-8:30pm, beginning September 16, 2010 and continuing for a total of ten sessions. Cost is $550, which includes materials, and will be limited to seven students. If this first class fills up, another class will be offered on Tuesday nights. Each participant will be required to sign a "Hold Harmless Agreement" at our first class. *If you have basic hand tools, such as a combination square, tape measure, a mechanical pencil with #5 lead, marking knife, and a 1" and 1/2" bench chisel, it will be helpful for you to bring them, but personal tools are not required. For those who have no previous woodworking skills or a limited amount of experience, we will meet September 9, at 6:00pm, to introduce you to the tools we will be using. Registration begins immediately and no refunds after August 26, 2010. We accept checks, cash, and major credit (debit) cards. Credit (debit) cards must be presented at the studio to be charged, or an additional 3% fee will be added to any card that must be manually processed. If you would like to subscribe to our eMails and be informed of future classes and events, please email us and let us know. Thank you.
